Bio On 2010 Van’s Warped Tour Described as "a danceable symphony of revolving doors, torrents of emotion, and stories of exploding stars in the periphery of vision" (Denver Syntax). A most unlikely group of personalities and artistic direction, united in their motivation and love of music, Speakeasy Tiger has bred a sound accessible to the masses as well as selective audiophiles. In concert, these distinctive elements combine to create a performance that is more than just that; it is an experience. MTHDS. Music That Heightens Different Senses, or, "the methods". Based out of Colorado, combine the fury of punk, the street-wise soul of hip-hop and funk with an over-the-top bombastic roots party groove. MTHDS have been booked aside The Roots, Ludacris, Murs, Guru, Everlast, 3OH!3, Asher Roth, Eek-A-Mouse, Groundation, Afroman, Collie Buddz, El-P, Warsaw Poland Bros, Whiskey Blanket, 40oz to Freedom, and many others. They also rocked the Honda Sessions '08 snowboard comp in Vail and the Mountain DewTour '09 in Breckenridge. The Avenue is UmConscious' first full-length LP release, and has been welcomed in the Colorado music scene with open-arms. UmConscious has rocked many premier events in Colorado, picked by Burton Snowboards to play the 2009 Transworld snowboard video premier and featured as the main act at the 2009 Sol Vista National mountain biking championship.
